This Privacy Policy describes how Aqua Leads ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through the Aqua Leads mobile application and web dashboard (collectively, the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who This App Is For

Aqua Leads is a private business tool, available exclusively to authorized contractors, field representatives, and administrative staff located in Los Angeles, California. The App is not available to the general public and does not target minors.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information when you use the App:

Account Information: Full name, phone number, and trade/specialty. Login credentials are created and provided by the administrator — you do not self-register.
Lead Data: Address, trade type, and relevant details about potential leads that you submit through the App.
Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as screens viewed and actions taken, used for internal performance and troubleshooting.
Device Information: Basic device type and operating system version for technical support purposes.

We do not collect banking information, payment card numbers, financial account details, Social Security numbers, or government-issued ID numbers. The App does not process, calculate, or display payments.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate and maintain the App and its features.
To manage lead submissions, internal status tracking, and connection requests.
To administer user accounts and roles (Admin, User, Secretary).
To send in-app notifications about lead status, connection requests, and appreciation items.
To analyze App performance and improve the user experience.
To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data in limited circumstances:

Service Providers: We use third-party services (including Google Sheets for data synchronization and Firebase/backend infrastructure) to operate the App. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Aqua Leads, our users, or the public.
Business Transfer: If Aqua Leads is acquired or merges with another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When your account is deactivated, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

6. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. Visit our Account Deletion page for instructions, or contact us using the information below. Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.

At the time we collect your personal information (upon onboarding and profile setup), you will be informed of the categories of data being collected and the purposes for which it will be used, consistent with the requirements of the CCPA.

10. Google Sheets Integration

The App synchronizes data with Google Sheets stored on our Google Drive for administrative and backup purposes. This data is accessed only by authorized Aqua Leads administrators. Google's own privacy practices apply to data stored on Google's infrastructure. See Google's Privacy Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
